Two of my Personal fave DJ'S...seen them shed loads of times often outshing the guests at Basics & Mad Hatters...scanning many genders & there Throwing Shapes Radio show is off the chain...this is what they had to say about the mix.

We're very proud to present the first mix from Tristan Da Cunha and Frenchy under their Disco Till I Die guise. Recorded in one take live from Waxwerks the boys bring you 70 mins of modern disco & tastefully done edits that just give it that extra lick to make them more dancefloor friendly without being disrespectful to the originals.

Disco Till I Die is a bi-monthly party at The Garage which so far has seen Greg Wilson and Maurice Fulton play, with Chris Duckenfield aka Popular People's next up on Sat 29th of June. The parties have been an instant hit and have proved so popular we're taking the show on the road. Upcoming Disco Till I Die gigs to check out are:-

J.Cub Recorded Live at Throwing Shapes @ The Garage

 

 

We did an interview with J.Cub a while back and he kindly supplied us with a mix, well here's another one. Which i personally love. I don't need to say much else as J.Cub already has.

"When I was asked to play for the Throwing Shapes launch party I jumped at the chance, especially because I was asked to play The Waxwerks (Record Store by day, back room of the club by night).
The brief was simple, play what I want how I want but keep it interesting, so head 1st into my record collection I went.
If you like your sets a bit different taking you in, over, around, under and through the houses with a 4x4 beat then you should like this, if you like your sets to sound the same throughout then this probably isnt for you (try it you may like it)
Oh and all is played off vinyl, now you cant play anything else in a Vinyl only Record Store can you!!??"

JT-Donaldson-40 Mins of Funk.

A nice little mix here for the 40 minutes of sun that we keep getting inbetween the thunderstorms. So act quick & get the deckchair to soak up some of the Firey ball in the sky before the rain starts again.

JT Donaldson is one my all time fave producers & i'll be honest i never thought of hearing a mix like this from him, but i follow the lad on soundcloud and was plesantly supprised when this popped up.

It would be great to see JT Donaldson play over here as he one of the many U.S Jocks who have cut the mustard for a long time now.
